NZCPHM call for action: vote yes to community water fluoridation Wednesday, 2 October 2013

The New Zealand College of Public Health Medicine today sent out a call for action to members in the relevant regions (Hamilton, Whakatane, and Hastings) and their peers to vote in the upcoming community water fluoridation referenda.

The NZCPHM endorses community water fluoridation as an important public health measure to prevent tooth decay and reduce health inequalities. You can find the NZCPHM policy statement on Water Fluoridation here.

If you would like to know more about the issue, we recommend the Community Water Fluoridation website (www.fluoridefacts.govt.nz).
