Review of the HDC Act 1994 Monday, 13 January 2014

Health and Disability Commissioner Anthony Hill is currently reviewing the Health and Disability Commissioner Act 1994 and the Code of Health and Disability Services Consumers' Rights. The Act requires the Commissioner to regularly review the Act and Code, consider whether any changes are necessary or desirable, and report the findings to the Minister of Health.

As part of the review, the Commissioner has published a consultation document asking for thoughts and feedback on whether the Act and Code should be amended and the operation of the Act and Code in general. You are invited to read it and make submissions.
