NZCPHM Training Programme Applications Open on 1st June Monday, 25 May 2015

Applications to the NZCPHM Training Programme open on Monday, 1 June 2015 and close at the end of the month. This intake of registrars will begin training in 2016.

More information about the Training Programme and application process can be found on the 'Education and Training' page of the College website.

Any medical practitioner wishing to be considered for the NZCPHM Training Programme must formally submit an application form and the required supporting information. Please note that applicants to the Training Programme must:

  • hold general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • have a current Practising Certificate
  • have at least two years of post-graduate experience
  • hold New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship

Through its John McLeod Fund, the NZCPHM will reimburse the application fees for Maori and Pacific applicants accepted into the training programme.

All applicants will be advised whether or not they have been selected for interview which will be held at the end of July 2015. These interviews are held at the College offices in Wellington.
