As the public health medicine registrar you would be an integral member of the service design team working across a range of projects, with clinical and non clinical colleagues and directly liaising with clients and stakeholders.
Types of activities registrars have been involved with include:
- Research and literature scanning/reviewing
- Developing theories of change
- Workshops with health sector staff as well as consumers, whānau and communities
- Qualitative data analysis
- Engaging with partners including our kaupapa Māori partners
- Health needs analysis
- Data and analytics work
- Designing frameworks
- Service reviews and evaluations
