EY (Ernst & Young) have an opportunity for a registrar
placement from early 2020 which would suit someone in their final
year of training.
The registrar will work in a team of experienced health care and
policy consultants, acting as both a public health subject matter
expert, and an integrated member of the team. The work is extremely
varied, and can include designing evaluations, conducting
interviews, undertaking data analysis, and writing reports.
The role allows the registrar to work at multiple levels of the
health system simultaneously - you might be working at the levels
of individual services, PHOs, DHBs and the Ministry of Health all
at once. There are extensive opportunities to develop both
qualitative and quantitative evaluation skills, and the work
frequently involves interaction with senior management of health
