Clinical Lead

With a clinical background as a Medical Officer of Health, you will be working directly for the Ministry of Health as part of the leadership team of the National Contact Tracing Service in the key role of Clinical Lead.

You will provide expert clinical leadership and direction for the National Contact Tracing Service and give advice on:

  • all elements related to a pathway of contact tracing
  • national clinical policies, standards, guidelines and procedures
  • national monitoring and reporting
  • quality assurance and improvement
  • providing clinical advice on enhancements to the National Contact Tracing (IT) Solution

This role will be influential in ensuring the clinical interaction between the Ministry and Public Health Units is aligned.

Disease Investigation

The Disease Control & Facilitation team require a Medical Officer of Health or public health nurse or health protection officer who is highly skilled and experienced in disease investigation for the Wellington-based team.

Your expertise will be required to support the establishment of the investigative capability within the Ministry of Health to support Public Health Units with case investigations and the coordination of multi-jurisdictional clusters and cases.
