The 59th Water New Zealand Conference &
Expo is being held this year in Hamilton from 20-22 September. In
2016 the event hosted nearly 1300 delegates and expo attendees,
almost a record attendance - and it is predicted this year will be
no different.
In addition to the normal annual conference and expo, there will
be an opportunity to register for an additional one day
pre-conference workshop on Tuesday 19 September, where we will
be discussing the learnings from the Havelock North campylobacter
outbreak. Five international speakers will be talking about the
lessons learnt, similarities to events overseas, the history and
current state of water safety plans, and water sanitation planning.
We hope to confirm a panel member from the Government Inquiry to
talk about the outcomes and the implications for water management
in New Zealand
