The Sustainable Healthcare and Climate Health Aotearoa Conference 2021 is open to anybody interested in ensuring the health sector in New Zealand creates an equitable pathway to carbon neutrality. Sustainable healthcare can bring wide co-benefits to health, health equity and well-being and the conference will address topics of mitigation, adaptation, risk, opportunity and innovation. 

The theme for this year's conference is Re-thinking Sustainable Health in Aotearoa. The focus of day one is Renegeration and Mitigation and day two, Adaptation and Innovation.

Delegates will include researchers, clinicians, policymakers, designers, sustainability champions, operational managers, suppliers, procurement agencies, board members and students - all keen to create a healthy planet that supports healthy people.

The main conference venue is in Wellington at University of Otago, Wellington, 23A Mein Street, Newtown.

There are two conference hubs (Auckland and Christchurch) where the conference presentations will be presented via Zoom. Catering and the opportunity to network with other hub delegates will be provided.
