2021 Immunisation Workshop Thursday, 9 September 2021

The 2021 IMAC Immunisation Workshop will be held in New Plymouth over 9-10 September. The workshop will commence at 1pm on Thursday, 9 September and finish at 3.30pm on Friday,                10 September. Pre-dinner drinks and nibbles will be served at the end of Thursday's afternoon session, followed by dinner at the Plymouth Hotel.

To date, 2021 has been a big year for immunisation. This workshop will be an excellent opportunity to network with your local and national colleagues and share innovations on improving equity.

The workshop will be a mixture of plenary presentations and concurrent sessions. The programme is designed for those working in immunisation from front-line vaccinators, health care workers, immunisation coordinators to DHB portfolio managers.

The workshop focus will be practical aspects of service delivery as well as clinical and technical updates.

Workshop topics will include:

  • Ministry of Health immunisation team update
  • Ministry of Health COVID-19 team update
  • International update on vaccine safety
  • Vaccination impact
  • Impact of 'lock down' on infectious disease
  • Immunisation challenges and successes
  • Special Groups immunisation programmes

 

A draft programme will be available soon and registrations will open at the end of July. Further details will be posted as they come to hand.

Cost $250

Please note we are unable to refund registrations, but can transfer to another colleague within your organisation if you are unable to attend.
