The Auckland Medical Research Foundation is delighted to partner with The University of Auckland's Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences (FMHS) to celebrate its milestone 50th anniversary with a series of free lectures every month. You are invited to join the final and free public event to showcase the FMHS golden anniversary and the numerous achievements in health and medical education, science and research since the opening of the Medical School in 1968.

During this year's lecture series, they have highlighted areas of major progress in health. However, many other problems and opportunities remain, and this final lecture in the series will consider some of these: mental health, diabetes, pharmacy and rheumatic fever.
