Specialist International Medical Graduates
Doctors who hold an overseas qualification in Public Health Medicine and are recognised as specialists may be able to practise in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Registration to practice medicine in New Zealand
Doctors wishing to relocate to and practise in Aotearoa New Zealand must apply for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ).

As part of the application process, MCNZ will forward your application to the College for assessment and advice. MCNZ will then advise you of the outcome of your registration application.
Application for Fellowship of the College
If you hold, or are soon to achieve, vocational registration in Public Health Medicine in Aotearoa New Zealand, you can apply for Fellowship of the College.
