Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

A unique position for a Public Health Medicine Specialist looking to practice as a Medical Officer of Health and work in the intersectoral environment using the WHO Health in All Policies framework.

Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team

The successful candidate will join four other experienced Medical Officers of Health to complement our clinical workforce, who are all experts in their chosen areas of sub-speciality. Additionally you will have the pleasure of working with a small team of Public Health Advisors passionate about influencing improved health outcomes using the Health in All Policies framework.

Moū - About you

To be successful in this role you will need to be a Public Health Medicine Specialist, who can be designated as a Medical Officer of Health. You will be passionate about improving the health outcomes of our priority populations through building enduring intersectoral relationships and influencing non-health sector decision makers. A commitment to applying Te Tiriti in your work is essential.

We require all our employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
