You will be part of a team of colleagues to support the mahi of the National Public Health Service. We deliver national, regional and local equity led public health services, underpinned by Te Tiriti, to achieve pae ora/healthy futures.
You will be in a supported learning environment to enable you to build on your existing experience and further develop skills and public health medicine competencies to progress strong relationships with partners across health and other sectors, understand communities’ needs, and contribute to developing innovative programmes. We will help you develop your ability to think strategically and translate strategic goals into operational plans. You will be part of responding to health protection issues and communicable disease control along with the opportunity to work on a broad range of social and environmental issues that impact on health.
