• Paul Stephenson, Synergia Partner, and lead consultant with the youth re-offending social bond and He has comprehensive content knowledge and strong experience in the health sector, as well as an interest in the design of effective leadership structures within and across organisations.
• Carl Bakker, an independent consultant, who lead out the bond agreement and the ongoing financial management of the bond. Carl has just completed a full evaluation of this impact investment and will discuss the evaluation approaches used (a contemporaneous risk-matched counterfactual approach using the IDI and a social value calculation) and the main results.

We hope our insights will help you understand what social investment is (and isn’t), how it can operate using a real example and give confidence for others to apply social investment as a way of solving some of our most pressing societal issues.
