Training Programme Supervisor

The Training Programme Supervisor (TPS) provides supervision to public health registrars and support to workplace supervisors and current/potential registrar worksites.

You need to be a current Fellow of the College, participating in TOPS, with a minimum of four years' experience as a vocationally registered public health medicine specialist.

The TPS meets regularly with their assigned registrars to review their progress and to encourage reflection and feedback. You will be assessing their learning needs and providing guidance for formative and summative assessments and training summaries as well as assisting with the development of training plans and completing training programme documentation.

You will be joining a small team of TPSs who meet monthly to ensure the training programme is consistent and that registrars are progressing appropriately.
